2. Sending Money

• Go to Macao Postal Savings or any one of the designated Service Locations;
• Complete the simple form;
• Get your receipt with a Money Transfer Control Number;
• Inform the Receiver of the followings:
  • the transferred amount;
  • the Money Transfer Control Number;
  • the name of the Sender;
  • the sending place (Macao).
• Within minutes*, the money you sent will be available for payout to your intended Receiver at any Western Union agent location of the destination.

In simplifying the process of sending money, Macao Postal Savings offers Western Union Gold Card to the frequent money senders. Since the information of sender is already loaded onto the Gold Card, this helps in reducing the transaction processing time at the counter, making the money transfer more convenient and rapid. Western Union Gold Card is absolutely free. There is no registration, membership or hidden fees.

3. Receiving Money

• Receive the notification from Sender and obtain the following information:
  • the transferred amount;
  • the Money Transfer Control Number;
  • the name of the Sender;
  • the sending place.
• Go to Macao Postal Savings or to any one of the designated Service Locations;
• Present identification document and fill in some simple information;
• You will be paid immediately after the verification of the data by the Money Transfer System.
